LANDON CONRATH CAPTIVATES THE TROUBADOUR IN LOS ANGELES

TROUBADOUR — LOS ANGELES, CA

Landon Conrath made his debut at the legendary Troubadour in Los Angeles on Friday night, marking the halfway point on his expansive 27-date U.S. tour. Conrath is known for his free-rein, dynamic stage presence, and tonight would prove to be no different. From the moment doors opened, fans packed the venue wall to wall. Joining Conrath on tour, Abby Holliday set the tone for the evening with her signature synth textures and intimate melodies. Her whimsical sound would prove to be the perfect precursor to the high-energy set that was planned before us.

Conrath made sure the night was engaging before he even stepped on stage, never allowing a dull moment. The crowd was treated to a lively trivia game, with cheers erupting as correct answers flashed across the screen. At one point, a QR code appeared, allowing fans to vote for a song to be played later in the night, an interactive touch that added an extra layer of anticipation among fans.

When the lights finally dimmed, anticipation reached its peak. Conrath and his band emerged and immediately filled the room with an electrifying sound. Within seconds, the entire crowd was on its feet, jumping in unison—so much so that it felt like the Troubadour’s historic floors might buckle at any given moment.

The setlist blended tracks from his 2022 album, Nothing Matters Anyway, with songs from his 2025 EP, can i just win a little bit???. The audience fed off every moment, matching Conrath’s intensity from start to finish. Just when it seemed like the energy might dip, it surged again—making the night feel like it passed in an instant.

"Last Week", the fan-voted selection, proved to be a highlight, earning one of the loudest reactions of the night. Before the final stretch, Conrath paused to thank the audience, reflecting briefly on the journey that brought him to this stage. It was a heartfelt, grounding moment—one that underscored the connection between artist and audience.

He closed the night with "Space Invader" and "So-So", sending the crowd out on a high note with one final roar. As the room emptied, fans quickly lined up to meet him, and each was greeted warmly. A perfect representation of the genuine energy he brought to the stage. With the U.S. leg still underway and a European run on the horizon (with more shows being announced soon), Conrath shows no signs of losing his ever-growing momentum.
