COVERING LIVE SHOWS

PROCEDURE

The following applies to writers, photographers, and writer photographers covering shows with or without a photo pass.

    • submit your request via the assignment sheet

    • DO NOT proceed without editor authorization

    • Update your status on the assignment sheet to “requested”

    • If you receive approval from the artist/s contact, update status again to “approved”

    • Arrive on time (typically to the box office) with appropriate identification

    • Photographers—try to wear all black!

    • Be professional—you are representing INTRUDER PRESS!

GUIDELINES

  • ALL COVERAGE IS DUE WITHIN 72 HOURS OF THE SHOW
    ex. if the show is Friday, coverage is due EOD Monday


    REQUIREMENTS

    • GOOGLE PHOTOS/DROPBOX LINK TO ASSETS

      • WITH photo pass — 10-15 images for gallery

      • WITHOUT photo pass — assets must be requested from your contact

    • GOOGLE DOC LINK TO SHOW REVIEW

      • 300 wordsminimum (consider tour name, atmosphere, songs, opener, headliner, highlights, album promotion, etc.)

  • BEFORE USING THE PORTAL, YOU MUST HAVE:

    • Minimum of three (3) articles published with INTRUDER PRESS

      • At least one (1) article must be a live show review (with or without gallery)

    HOW MANY REQUESTS CAN BE MADE USING THE PORTAL?

    • CONTRIBUTORS: limited to one (1) portal requests per month

    • STAFF/EDITORS: unlimited use

    HOW DO I USE THE PORTAL?

  • CAPITALIZE all mentions of tour names — ex. THE ALBUM TOUR

    Italicize all mentions of album titles — ex. Album Title

    “Double Quote” — all mentions of song titles — ex. “Song Title”

    Spotify link all mentions of songs and albums

    BOLD all of the above ONLY at first mention
